Favorite Things: Music, reading, art (mainly b+w film photography), going to concerts and museums (art and science mainly), tea and coffee, collecting albums and found things, working out at the gym, going out to eat or cooking a nice meal, road trips! mixed cds or tapes, getting letters and packages in the mail, shopping (I am a major bargain hunter), sewing, tattoos and piercings.

Do you want snail mail penpals?: Yes! What other kind are there? I really don't think zipping emails back and forth counts.

Do you want new livejournal friends?: Not so much. Unless we penpal and use it to keep in touch about mailing and things of that nature. Sure.

What are some countries do you want to meet friends from?: I would love international penpals! I don't mind the extra postage.

Favourite movies: Anything by Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, and Michael Moore. I really like Disney/Kids movies and asian Horror movies too. I love the Harry Potter book and movie series. I just went to the midnight showing of Half-Blood prince. I like a number of classics too. Audrey Hepburn is amazing and Funny Face is a favorite. I would have to say that Netflix is one of the best things that I have found in this life. lolzzz

Favourite television shows: Believe it or not I am a HUGE wrestling fan. I watch every WWE brand show (and usually TNA too) each week to the point I won't make plans when its on! Hahah. Other than that I love Gilmore Girls, Will and Grace, Sex and the City, Cartoons and kids shows like Flapjack and Yo Gabba Gabba! I love trivia shows too such as Cash Cab, Jeopardy, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

Favourite foods/drinks: I am a vegatarian. I started learning and experimenting with that lifestyle when I was 9 and have been strict about it for over 5 years now. I love vegetable sushi, edemame and miso soup. Eggplant parm. Mexican stuff (real deal or americanized). Pizza. Pasta. As far as drinks I'm always drinking coffee or diet sodas (usually pepsi max). I like juices and teas a lot too.

Favourite books: My favorite authors are Chuck Palahniuk, Edgar Allen Poe, J.K. Rowling, Amy Hempel, Toni Morrison, Jonathan Lethem, Neil Gaiman, Jonathan Franzen, Shakespeare. I am always reading. I keep a book in my bag at all times.

Work/School: Currently on a one semester 'break' between community college and my 4 year. I plan on being an art elementary teacher. I was working at an animal shelter for a year. Now I am a baby sitter/nanny for a 9 year old girl with a physical disability (AMC). She is amazing.

Specifically Seeking: No one specific. Someone with simmilar intrests (or not!) that wants to correspond somewhat frequently. Since I just gave you a lengthy schpiel about myself, I ask you write first so I can get to know you!

Long, Medium, or Short Letters: Medium. I guess it depends more on the quality of the letters and how well we jive. I would like the option to swap things too (mixed cds, stickers, little trinkets and knick-knacks.)

How many penpals do you want?: I have a few, but a few more would be grand!

Hand written or typed?: Hand written! There's no fun or personality in typed.

How long does it take you to respond?: I write back within a few days, sometimes a week if I am really busy or something.

Age?: Not as important as having similar interests and learning from each other, right? I think 17-30 is a decent range.

What do you want in a pen pal?: Someone open, thoughtful and helpful. Someone who will write in a timely manner, but issues are always understandable. Just let me know whats going on to cause delay. Someone who wont randomly stop writing for no reason.
